A badge needs an explanation

A verification label is useful only if you can understand the checks behind it. We separate identity checks, contact checks, professional evidence review, and business ownership checks. Each published check should show when it was reviewed.

Evidence is not an endorsement

An identity check establishes that particular identifying evidence has been reviewed. A contact check confirms control of a communication channel. Professional evidence review considers documents about stated training or experience. A business check considers evidence of authority to represent a practice.

None of these checks guarantees a practitioner’s character, interpretation, future conduct, service quality, or outcomes. We do not verify that predictions are accurate.

Choose with the whole profile in mind

Read a practitioner’s approach, boundaries, fees, and terms alongside verification information. Report misleading claims or outdated information so they can be investigated. Paid placement must be labelled and never substitutes for evidence.
